noun [French atuh–lyey] a workshop or studio, especially of an artist, artisan, or designer.

We are thrilled to introduce our first vintage of Atelier, wines that honor winemaking technique, tradition, and innovation: 2021 Russian River Valley Chardonnay and 2021 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. Winemaker Ondine Chattan’s years of experience, passion, and expertise are at the heart of this project.

Sourced from esteemed, geographically distinct, family-owned vineyard sites where generations of pride, knowledge, and care cultivate both the fruit and spirit of the land. Our grower partners are united in their commitment to sustainable farming and conservation. Water-efficiency and low-impact farming practices translate tangibly to fruit and wine quality.

Our stylistic vision is one of refinement, of detail, of elegance and structure accentuating the natural facets of select grape varieties. We fashion our wines through sustainable winegrowing and winemaking processes that are rooted in tradition with an eye to the future to maintain contemporary relevance.

For the Atelier, the tools and materials of its making are as vital to design execution as the vision. We chose the glorious Russian River Valley in Sonoma County as our muse for the first release. Ondine’s years of experience with the Russian River Valley’s multigenerational farmers, distinctive soil profiles, numerous microclimates, and long growing season lured us to a handful of beautiful vineyard sites where we saw the potential to construct new silhouettes that reflect our winemaking spirit.

From grape to glass, Atelier is crafted with respect for the planet and its people.
